Russian authorities reported the largest attack by Ukrainian drones on Moscow, with all 45 drones destroyed. Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin praised the defense system for its successful interception.
Videos circulated on social media showed the drones being taken down by air defense systems, causing car alarms to go off. The Bryansk region was also targeted, with Governor Alexander Bogomaz confirming the destruction of 23 drones.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian forces advanced into Russia’s Kursk region, as reported by the Institute for the Study of War. This incursion has boosted morale in Ukraine but comes alongside losses in the Donbas region.
