Israel orders evacuations in Gaza’s Deir el-Balah, sparking mass exodus | Israel-Palestine conflict News

The Israeli military has issued new evacuation orders in Deir el-Balah, Gaza Strip, forcing thousands of Palestinians to flee as forces advance deeper into the city. Previously a “humanitarian safe zone”, the area is now deemed a “dangerous combat zone” by the Israeli army.

Civilians are being urged to move westwards to avoid an imminent attack, causing panic among residents who are already displaced multiple times. Witnesses report civilians fleeing on foot with basic belongings amidst the ongoing conflict.

The UNRWA has expressed concerns over the reduction of “safe zones” in Gaza to just 11%, leading to widespread fear among displaced individuals. With two million people displaced and thousands killed or injured, the situation in Gaza remains dire.

The blockade of Gaza has resulted in severe shortages of essential supplies, while continuous bombings have left the territory in ruins. As the conflict escalates, the plight of civilians in Gaza continues to worsen.
