Iran Press/ Iran News: Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasizes the importance of unity between Parliament and the government in a recent address.
Following the President’s speech, the Iranian Parliament members proceeded to vote on the proposed ministers for President Masoud Pezeshkian’s new administration.
The Iranian lawmakers deliberated on whether to agree, disagree, or abstain regarding the proposed ministers of Iran’s new administration.
After 5 days of discussions, MPs in the Iranian Parliament finalized their vote on the approval or disapproval of the 19 nominees for the 14th administration of the 9th Iranian president.
President Pezeshkian, who assumed office following the unfortunate helicopter crash that led to the martyrdom of President Ebrahim Raisi, introduced his cabinet nominees in alphabetical order:
1. Alireza Kazemi for the Ministry of Education
2. Sattar Hashemi for Ministry of Communication and Information Technology
3. Esmaeil Khatib for the Ministry of Intelligence

President Pezeshkian’s administration marks the 14th since the Islamic Revolution in 1979 and is expected to serve a four-year term.
