Ogun starts giving out N500m loans to artisans, traders

The Ogun State Government Empowers Artisans and Traders with N500m Soft Loans

The Ogun State Government has kickstarted the distribution of N500m soft loans to artisans and traders across the state. The state Governor, Dapo Abiodun, announced the scheme “Oko’wo Irinse Dapo,” ensuring beneficiaries receive funds within 30 days.

Governor Abiodun stated, “The N500m is ready for distribution. We are finalizing the details to ensure artisans and trade unions start benefiting.” In addition to the loans, grants and subventions are being provided to community development associations and committees.

Over 200 Community Development Associations will receive grants ranging from N200,000 to N5m. Subventions and administrative grants are also allocated to various development committees across the state. This initiative aims to support local businesses and enhance community development.
