Homes in Romania raided as investigation expands.

Romanian police have conducted searches at the residences of prominent social media figure Andrew Tate in connection to new allegations against him. Tate, along with his brother Tristan, is facing charges of sex with minors, human trafficking, money laundering, and attempting to influence witnesses. The brothers, known for their sizable online following, have denied all accusations.

DIICOT, the special prosecution service of the Romanian Organised Crime Directorate, carried out the searches in Bucharest and Ilfov county. The investigation has been ongoing for some time, with allegations of operating a criminal group through an adult content business. The Tate brothers, former kickboxers with dual UK-US citizenship, are also wanted in the UK for separate sexual offenses.

Andrew Tate, a self-proclaimed misogynist who has been banned from social media platforms for his controversial views, maintains his innocence and alleges a conspiracy against him. Despite his claims, prosecutors have named two Romanian women as associates in the case, along with seven alleged victims. The influencer continues to assert his innocence in the face of mounting legal troubles.
