The Altyn Kyran – 2024 Joint Tactical-Special Exercise Kicks Off in Almaty, Kazakhstan
The joint tactical-special exercise between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, known as Altyn Kyran – 2024, commenced on August 20 in Almaty. Hosted by the Kazakh Defense Ministry, the opening ceremony was a grand affair with national anthems, flags, and speeches emphasizing the importance of collaboration and teamwork among the participating servicemen.
During the exercise, participants will engage in mountainous reconnaissance and counter measures against illegal armed formations at the Almaty Koktal training site. Azerbaijani troops, drawing from their experience in the recent Karabakh War, will share insights and strategies with their Kazakh counterparts.
