Romanian Influencer Andrew Tate Faces New Investigation Involving Minors
Romanian prosecutors have intensified their investigation into controversial influencer Andrew Tate, who is already facing charges of human trafficking and rape. Tate, known for his misogynistic and often violent statements, is accused of being involved in an organised criminal network in Romania and Britain with his brother Tristan.
Authorities allege that Tate, along with his brother and two women, exploited several victims through a criminal organisation. Following a raid on the Tate brothers’ residence, they were brought in for questioning by masked police. The investigation involves crimes such as forming an organised criminal group, trafficking in minors, sexual relations with minors, and money laundering.
Having gained notoriety for his divisive social media content, Tate’s tumultuous past includes being removed from the “Big Brother” reality show in Britain for attacking a woman. Despite facing multiple legal challenges, he continues to share controversial views online.
With a trial date pending, the Tate brothers remain under judicial supervision as they await further legal proceedings in both Romania and Britain.
