Adityanath supports extension of reservation benefits to all reserved category candidates for assistant teacher appointments in UP.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed the Basic Education Department to comply with the Allahabad High Court’s order to prepare a new merit list for 69,000 assistant teachers within three months. Adityanath emphasized the importance of ensuring reservation benefits for all reserved category candidates without injustice.
The decision had caused concern among teachers from general and OBC categories already employed, but Adityanath assured that no teacher would lose their job. The new merit list will adhere to reservation policies, ensuring fair opportunities for all eligible candidates.
