Turkey’s National Defense Minister Yasar Guler and head of the National Intelligence Organization, Ibrahim Kalin, were warmly received by Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim during their official visit to Malaysia. The Turkish officials were welcomed by Malaysian Defense Minister Mohamed Khaled Nordin upon their arrival at the Prime Minister’s Official Residence before their meeting with Prime Minister Ibrahim.
As part of their visit, Guler and Kalin also visited the Turkish Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, where they received a briefing on the embassy’s activities from Ambassador Emir Salim Yuksel. The meeting between the Turkish and Malaysian officials emphasized the strong diplomatic ties between the two countries and the importance of maintaining cooperation in various fields.
