Sessions Judge in Kohistan Shot by Unknown Assailants

In a shocking incident, a sessions judge in Kohistan sustained bullet injuries after being shot by unknown assailants due to personal enmity. Session Judge Kohistan Frid Khan was targeted outside a mosque in his ancestral village, Chhoher Sharif, sustaining two bullets in his legs. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The Superintendent of Police (SP) Haripur revealed that five suspects have been nominated in the case, and efforts are underway to apprehend them. This incident comes after the recent kidnapping of Sessions Judge Shakirullah Marwat in Dera Ismail Khan, who was fortunately recovered safely.

Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif, KP Information Minister, commended the recovered judge and emphasized the joint efforts of the provincial government and armed forces in combating terrorism. While the judge’s guard and driver were unharmed during the attack, his vehicle was set ablaze.
