New Agreement between Sanaa and United Nations Revealed
Sanaa recently announced a new agreement with the United Nations regarding operational rules for organizations, in line with the government’s new objectives and international standards. Foreign Minister Jamal Amer revealed that the Ministry committee handed over the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights building to UN representatives to enhance cooperation.
Minister Amer also met with UN Resident Coordinator, Julien Harneis, discussing ways to strengthen collaboration with the United Nations and other international organizations. The government emphasized its commitment to upholding the Constitution of Yemen and international agreements, ensuring aid is not politicized by external forces.
This agreement signifies a step towards better humanitarian and development assistance for those affected by the economic blockade in Yemen, solidifying ties with global entities for mutual benefit.
