Russian Defence Ministry Unveils Three New Groups of Forces
The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD) recently announced the establishment of three new groups of forces named “Belgorod”, “Bryansk”, and “Kursk”. The decision was made during a meeting of the Coordination Council on military security of border territories, led by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov.

Responsibilities were outlined for the protection of border territories from threats such as UAVs and other enemy weapons. Belousov emphasized the need for direct communication with regional authorities at all times, stressing the importance of addressing every issue promptly.
“Not a single issue should be left unattended,”
The Kursk region has been under siege for two weeks with a counter-terrorism operation regime implemented in Kursk, Belgorod, and Bryansk regions. Ukraine’s attacks in the Kursk region resulted in seventeen deaths and over 140 injuries, according to TASS.
