In a meeting with political and media figures, he emphasized the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the need for continued political modernization to achieve a mature partisan stage.
King Abdullah also addressed regional developments, stating Jordan will not tolerate being held hostage by the policies of the extremist Israeli government. He called for comprehensive calm in the region and urged the international community to end the conflict in Gaza and halt unilateral measures in the West Bank.
The attendees praised Jordan’s efforts in supporting Palestinians, especially the humanitarian aid provided to Gaza. They also commended Jordan’s diplomatic initiatives to stop the war in Gaza and increase humanitarian aid to the region.
