The new building of Al-Maarad Provincial District in Jerash, Jordan, was inaugurated by Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya. Established by a royal decree and approved by the cabinet in May, the building aims to enhance services for the people of Jerash governorate. Faraya emphasized the need for coordination among government and security institutions to improve citizen services and called for monthly service reports.
Encouraging citizen participation in the upcoming parliamentary elections, Faraya urged voters to choose representatives based on merit and qualifications, rather than traditional affiliations. He also visited the Al A’aj Clothing Factory to learn about its role in local development by providing employment opportunities for youth.
Additionally, Faraya reviewed progress at the deer reserve area in Sakib and offered ministry support to the Al Maarad municipality for rehabilitation efforts. The initiative aims to benefit local residents and reopen the reserve to the public. This commitment highlights the government’s focus on community development and citizen well-being.
