The narrative has finally begun to shift. Voices have grown increasingly louder demanding that Palestinians have a right to defend themselves.
Amid the ongoing conflict in Gaza, the discourse surrounding Israel’s right to self-defense has been challenged. Despite possessing a powerful military and support from the United States, Israel continues to dominate the narrative. Palestinians are denied the right to resist occupation and oppression.
The historical context of Israel’s expansion through force, occupation of Palestinian land, and illegal settlements highlights its violations of international law. The recent escalation in Gaza emphasizes the need for a shift in perspective.
As international voices call for Palestinian rights and liberation, the outdated defense of Israel’s actions is being questioned. It is time to acknowledge the reality of the situation and advocate for justice in the region.
