Dehumanization of Palestinians to justify occupation and genocide in Israel-Palestine conflict.

In a recent televised debate, former US President Donald Trump used the term “Palestinian” as an insult towards current President Joe Biden. This incident highlights a deeper issue of dehumanization towards Palestinians, who have been enduring extreme violence and suffering in Gaza and across Palestine.

Despite ongoing genocide and human rights abuses, the global community, especially in the West, has largely turned a blind eye to the plight of Palestinians. The dehumanization of Palestinians through media narratives and political rhetoric has contributed to this apathy towards their suffering.

To combat this dehumanization, it is crucial to recognize the humanity of Palestinians and support their right to resistance, self-determination, and freedom from occupation.
