Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, mourns the passing of the state’s Resident Electoral Commissioner, Olaniyi Ijalaye. Ijalaye tragically collapsed and died after a meeting at INEC’s headquarters in Abuja. Governor Abiodun expressed deep sorrow over Ijalaye’s sudden death, praising him for his honesty, commitment, and integrity in public service.
Abiodun extended his condolences to Ijalaye’s family and the people of Ondo State. He described the late commissioner as an exemplary figure of diligence and honesty. Despite the shock of his passing, Abiodun highlighted Ijalaye’s impactful and fulfilled life.
