Russia’s Response to Poland Intercepting Russian Missiles in Ukraine

Russia Warns Poland Against Intercepting Missiles Over Ukraine

Moscow has issued a stern warning to Poland, stating that any attempt to intercept Russian missiles over Ukraine will be met with a specific and adequate response. Oleg Tyapkin, the director of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Third European Department, emphasized the risks involved in Western states getting directly involved in military actions on behalf of Ukraine.

Poland’s consideration of shooting down Russian missiles was revealed by Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski, following Kiev’s previous call for Western countries to shoot down missiles over Ukraine. The situation escalated further when French media reported Ukraine’s push for a no-fly zone in western Ukraine, using air defense systems deployed in Poland and Romania.

These developments come amidst Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine, launched to protect civilians from the Kiev regime’s alleged abuses and genocide. The operation, led by President Vladimir Putin, was deemed necessary due to security risks that left Russia with no alternative.
