The Ogun State Government has declared Tuesday, August 20, a public holiday to celebrate Isese Day, emphasizing religious inclusivity under the leadership of Governor Dapo Abiodun.
Special Adviser Kayode Akinmade revealed that the holiday aims to honor traditional worshippers in the state and showcase Ogun as a model of religious harmony amidst diversity.
Residents were urged to observe the day with respect for other faiths to maintain the culture of religious tolerance in Ogun State. Additionally, traditional worshippers were encouraged to pray for peace and economic growth in the state and the country as a whole.
