Minister of Health Emphasizes Environment’s Role in Facing Biological Warfare in Yemen

In a recent meeting, Dr. Ali Abdulkarim Shaiban, the Minister of Health and Environment of the Sanaa Government, highlighted the crucial role of the environment sector in the ongoing biological war against Yemen.

Dr. Shaiban underlined the significance of merging the environment sector with the health sector to strengthen the country’s defense against various health threats faced by the Yemeni population.

He praised the sector’s efforts in managing pests, epidemics, and the aftermath of biological attacks, emphasizing its continuous support in mitigating the impact of internationally banned weapons used by the Saudi-led coalition.

With the environment sector playing a pivotal role in safeguarding public health, Yemen is better equipped to combat health challenges caused by the ongoing conflict.
