Man connected to Israeli embassy attack in Serbia dies months later

Tragedy struck in the village of Hotkovo in southern Serbia as Serbian police killed Senad Ramovic, who was connected to the man responsible for the attack on the Israeli embassy in Belgrade, Salahudin Zujovic. Ramovic allegedly initiated gunfire towards the officers, resulting in his demise, confirmed by Serbian Interior Minister Ivica Dacic.

Prior to the attack in June, Ramovic had already served a 13.5-year sentence. Zujovic’s attack at the embassy involved a bow and arrow, showcasing his violent intent. Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz expressed gratitude for Serbia’s swift response and cooperation following the incident, extending well wishes for the injured Serbian guard’s recovery.
