Deputy Speaker Kalu predicts Otti as last Labour Party gov.

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, predicts that the next governor of Abia State will come from the All Progressives Congress (APC), ending the era of Labour Party governors in the state. In a viral video, Kalu emphasized the need for APC governance in Abia, citing President Bola Tinubu’s contribution to the state as a crucial factor.

Kalu, a member of the APC representing Bende Federal Constituency, expressed his confidence in his party’s ability to win the next election and lead Abia to development. He reiterated that the 2027 election would mark the shift to APC governance in the state, emphasizing the importance of aligning with the ruling party at the center for progress.

Despite acknowledging the achievements of the current Labour Party governor, Alex Otti, Kalu maintained that Abia needed the leadership of APC to thrive. The video has stirred discussions about the future political landscape of Abia State, with Kalu’s bold declaration driving the narrative.
