Rep gives N60m relief to Plateau attack victims

Daniel Asama, the National Assembly member representing the Jos North/Bassa Federal Constituency in Plateau State, has provided relief to vulnerable individuals in his constituency by distributing food and non-food items worth over 60 million naira. These items aim to alleviate the effects of the high cost of living and were received from the Commission for Refugees through the Ministry of Agriculture.

Speaking at the distribution event in Kwal, Bassa Local Government Area, Asama emphasized the importance of helping people facing economic hardships. The lawmaker expressed his commitment to bringing relief to his constituents, especially the vulnerable and displaced individuals.

The distribution will occur in phases, with initial aid being provided to 50 beneficiaries, followed by subsequent distributions to more individuals. Asama urged his constituents to support President Bola Tinubu and Governor Caleb Mutfwang and reassured them of his dedication to effective representation in the National Assembly.

The distributed items included essential food items, school supplies, and roofing materials, among others. Beneficiaries expressed gratitude for the support and promised to utilize the items responsibly.
