A recent incident in the capital city of Islamabad left many baffled as a woman, initially claiming to be a foreigner, was found bound and gagged on a roadside. However, further investigations have revealed that the woman, identified as Silva Sitina Jans, is actually mentally disturbed.
The police, after receiving a call, discovered the woman standing near G-7 and took her to a nearby location where she had been abandoned. The woman, who alleged to have stayed in a house in the area, was later identified as a native of Rawalpindi during a visit to Nadra.
The man in whose house the woman had been staying, an ex-government official, shared that she had a history of erratic behavior and had been involved in previous incidents. The situation escalated when she claimed to be a Belgian national, leading to her expulsion from a hostel in Rawalpindi.
Despite efforts to locate her family, the woman’s relatives disowned her, prompting the police to transfer her to an Edhi Centre. The investigation is ongoing, with the medico-legal report still pending.
Stay tuned for more updates on this perplexing case.
