In a tragic turn of events, at least 1,760 Palestinian bodies have disappeared in Gaza due to the use of internationally prohibited weapons by the Israeli occupation. Mahmoud Bassal, spokesperson for Gaza’s Civil Defense, revealed that no trace of these bodies was found, leaving their fate unknown.
Additionally, 8,240 bodies have been forcibly disappeared since the outbreak of the war, with 2,210 bodies missing from various graves and targeted areas. The Civil Defense workers have faced immense challenges, with 82 martyred, 270 injured, and infrastructure destroyed.
This heartbreaking situation sheds light on the devastating impact of conflict on civilians. It is a stark reminder of the urgent need for peace and the protection of human lives in conflict zones.
Our thoughts are with the families affected by these disappearances, and we hope for peace and justice to prevail in Gaza.
