North Korea Stands with Moscow Against Western-backed Attacks
The Foreign Ministry of North Korea has condemned Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk Region as an act of terrorism backed by the West. The ministry stated that the United States and its allies are pushing the security situation towards World War III by supporting Kiev’s aggressive actions.
Pyongyang vowed to stand with Moscow in defending its sovereignty amidst the escalating conflict. This comes after Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a “comprehensive strategic partnership” deal with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, solidifying their alliance.
While Western officials denied prior knowledge or involvement in the incursion, the top adviser to Ukrainian President Zelensky claimed there were discussions with partner forces. Russian officials accused NATO and Western special services of being involved in planning the attack.
The Russian Defense Ministry reported significant losses for Kiev, including troops and military hardware, since the start of the incursion. Despite Washington’s ban on certain weapons, Ukraine has utilized American equipment in the operation.
As tensions escalate in the region, North Korea remains steadfast in its support for Moscow against Western-backed aggression.
