Barrister Saif claims three-member committee probed allegation against former cabinet member
The provincial minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was fired for alleged corruption on Imran Khan’s orders, while Ex-C&W minister Shakeel accused the provincial govt of embezzlement. Saif, advisor to KP CM, met Imran in Adiala Jail to discuss the decision. A committee investigated Shakeel’s corruption allegations and Imran personally selected committee members.
Imran emphasized zero tolerance for corruption in the provincial government and instructed workers to submit complaints or concerns to the committee. Shakeel, diverging from PTI’s manifesto, claimed to have resigned due to differences in governance. Sher Afzal Marwat also met Imran in Adiala Jail, resolving disagreements following orders from the party founder.
This significant development highlights Imran Khan’s strong stance against corruption and the importance of party unity in furthering PTI’s objectives.
