Cracking Down on Human Trafficking: Sindh Police Takes Action
IG Sindh, Ghulam Nabi Memon, has issued orders to intensify actions against groups involved in human trafficking. All police officials in the province have been instructed to take strict measures against traffickers, as well as their guardians and facilitators.
Failure to act will be seen as complicity, warned the police leadership. In line with this crackdown, plans to recruit 400 prosecutors have been announced to enhance the legal process efficiency within the department.
During a recent meeting, IG Sindh emphasized the importance of digitalization and modern technology in streamlining police operations. The Sindh Government has pledged full support for the digitalization process, highlighting the significance of protecting complainants and witnesses in the legal process.
With these proactive measures, Sindh Police aims to combat human trafficking effectively and ensure justice for victims.
