Paetongtarn Shinawatra Becomes Thailand’s Youngest Prime Minister

At just 37 years old, Paetongtarn Shinawatra, the heiress and daughter of controversial billionaire and ex-premier Thaksin Shinawatra, has officially taken office as Thailand’s prime minister. She received royal approval following the dismissal of ally Srettha Thavisin by the Constitutional Court, leading to Paetongtarn’s ascension to power amidst Thailand’s turbulent political landscape.
