Salalah – The Ministry of Labour in Oman is hosting a conference on ‘Entrepreneurship, Employment, and Localisation Policies’ in Salalah. This two-day event, under the banner of ‘Together We Work…Together We Innovate and Prosper,’ aims to emphasize the crucial role of entrepreneurship in driving economic diversification and non-oil sector development in Oman.
The conference, inaugurated by Sheikh Salem bin Mustahail al Mashani, Advisor at Diwan of Royal Court, will delve into the potential of artificial intelligence for sustainable development. Nasser bin Salem al Hadhrami, Director General of Labour in Dhofar, highlighted the conference’s objectives, focusing on the importance of localisation for the national economy and preparing entrepreneurs for technological advancements.
The event will feature discussions on job localisation, freelance work impact, national employment policies, and Omanisation experiences. It underscores the significance of entrepreneurship in national development and investing in Oman’s youth for a prosperous future.
