Croatian Police on the Hunt for 3 Ukrainians Who Caused €2 Million Damage to 34 Vessels
The Croatian police are actively searching for three Ukrainian citizens believed to have set fire to a yacht berth in the port of Medulin, resulting in the damage of 34 vessels, amounting to €2 million. The incident took place on May 14, with the suspects identified as one 28-year-old and two 25-year-olds who allegedly drove from Poland to carry out the arson.
The suspects, after throwing a Molotov cocktail onto a vessel in the port causing a fire that spread to 34 nearby vessels, are currently on the run. Croatian authorities have issued a wanted notice for the perpetrators, with the prosecutor’s office leading the investigation.
