Shocking news has emerged from Enugu State, where three students from the State College of Health Technology, Oji-River, have been kidnapped. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday evening, has left the community in fear and uncertainty.
According to reports, gunmen suspected to be herdsmen invaded the school complex and abducted the students. While two students have been rescued, three remain missing. The Police have launched a rigorous operation to locate and rescue the missing victims and apprehend the perpetrators.
In a statement, the Command’s spokesman, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, dismissed viral videos claiming numerous students were abducted, calling it false information meant to cause panic.
The Commissioner, CP Kanayo Uzuegbu, has ordered the police to prioritize finding and rescuing the missing students. He also warned against spreading misinformation on social media, urging the public to trust in their investigative efforts.
