The resilience of the resistance led by Yahya Sinwar has proven that the “total victory” of “defeating Hamas” was an unattainable objective.
Yahya Sinwar’s release thirteen years ago in a prisoner exchange deal has come back to haunt Benjamin Netanyahu as Sinwar now leads the resistance against Israeli atrocities in Gaza. As the head of Hamas, Sinwar has emerged as a symbol of defiance, standing against Netanyahu’s failed attempts to crush the Palestinian spirit.
Despite Israel’s brutal campaign in Gaza resulting in thousands of deaths, mainly civilians, Netanyahu and his warlords have achieved no significant goals, only tarnishing Israel’s image as a “caring nation.” Sinwar, once a prisoner planning armed resistance, has now become a revered leader inspiring solidarity for Palestine’s freedom struggle.
