Hundreds of students protested in Kolkata against the rape and murder of a trainee doctor, demanding justice for the victim.

The students marched with placards and slogans, expressing outrage towards the government and highlighting safety concerns for female professionals.

Protesters emphasized the urgency of delivering justice for the victim and voiced concerns about the safety of women in the country.

The rally, led by Akhila Bharatiya Akhara Parishad president Ravindra Puri, reiterated the need for immediate action and accountability.

Participants also criticized the West Bengal government for failing to ensure women’s safety despite being led by a female Chief Minister.

Allegations of continuous oppression of Hindu women prompted calls for the government’s dismissal and immediate intervention from higher authorities.
