Amidst the ongoing conflict between Israel and Gaza, discussions facilitated by the US, Qatar, and Egypt are set to resume in Cairo. Palestinians are hopeful for a positive outcome as talks that were previously paused in Doha could potentially lead to a ceasefire.
Both Israel and Hamas are currently reviewing proposals put forth by mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and the United States. The question remains: will these negotiations result in a lasting truce?
