The Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion’s Oman Business Platform has achieved a significant milestone, facilitating a record 487,300 commercial transactions in the first half of 2024. This platform aims to simplify the business process for investors by offering a single access point to all e-government services, granting over 195,000 automatic license approvals and issuing thousands of other licenses, including e-commerce licenses.

Director General Mubarak bin Mohammed al Duhani highlighted the platform’s success in providing essential services to investors and improving the business environment. Noteworthy features include reduced fees for foreign investors and services for changing legal forms and evaluating user satisfaction.

Recent improvements to the platform aim to accelerate and simplify commercial transactions further, attracting more investments to Oman and stimulating economic growth. With over 50 electronic services available, the Oman Business Platform continues to drive efficiency and innovation in the business sector.
