The newly-appointed Seoul City Party Chairman, Rep. Jang Kyung-tae (Dongdaemun, Seoul), was elected on the 17th as the Seoul City Party Chairman at an event with a 92.97% approval rate from voters. The voting took place at the Seoul Jangchung Gymnasium, where Rep. Jang ran unopposed with a turnout of 43.34%.
In his acceptance speech, Chairman Jang expressed his ambitions for the upcoming 2026 local elections, stating that if they replicate the success of the 2018 local elections, they can secure victories in the Gangnam, Seocho, and Songpa areas.
With a vision for victory, Chairman Jang is determined to work alongside the elected representatives and top members to ensure success for the Seoul City Party.
