As tensions rise in Israel due to the threat of escalation from Iran-backed Hezbollah, the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ) has stepped in to support northern communities. With a donation of over $75 million, IFCJ has provided more than 500 first aid responder kits to northern communities, ensuring they are equipped to handle mass-casualty events.
The IFCJ’s latest project focused on outfitting 33 communities in the Golan municipal council with these kits, totaling a cost of NIS 82,500. Additionally, the organization has donated mobile shelter units and protected vehicles to enhance emergency response capabilities in the northern region.
This donation comes at a critical time as Israel faces potential retaliation for the assassination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. IFCJ President Yael Eckstein emphasized the importance of protecting Israel’s citizens and improving civil defense, highlighting the need for aggressive action against new threats.
