IDF confirms death of Maj. (Res.) Yotam Itzhak Peled

Major Yotam Itzhak Peled, 34, from Rosh Haayin, tragically fell in combat in the central Gaza Strip. He was a company commander of a logistical support unit from the 8119th Battalion in the Logistics Corps and was killed in a convoy delivering resources to combat troops when an explosive device detonated.

Terrorists attempted to shoot additional soldiers

Following the attack, three terrorists attempted to shoot at the forces and then fled. The IDF is currently making efforts to locate them. The family of Maj. Peled has been notified of his passing.
