The Zamfara State Governor, Dauda Lawal, praised the Federal College of Education Technical, Gusau as a key institution in nurturing and producing qualified teachers for public schools in the region. Lawal made this statement during a courtesy visit from the FCET Governing Council at the Government House, aiming to strengthen collaboration between the state government and the college.

Lawal highlighted the positive impact of FCET Gusau on Zamfara State’s education sector, emphasizing the importance of quality education. He noted the state’s recent achievements in education, including topping the performance charts in the NECO entrance examination for gifted students in the North. Additionally, the governor mentioned ongoing efforts to improve school infrastructure and teacher training initiatives.
