In a recent speech, he addressed the issue of overseas opponents calling for protests in Phnom Penh against the Cambodia-Laos-Vietnam Development Triangle Area, accusing them of attempting to overthrow the government.

He declared, “We will take tough action against those who attempt to burn the country and not allow any hostile forces to divide our nation.”
