Balochistan CM alleges BLA killed Panjgur DC – Pakistan

Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti of Balochistan has revealed that intelligence reports point to the involvement of the banned Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) in the martyrdom of deputy commissioner Zakir Baloch in Panjgur. Bugti expressed his disdain for those who receive funds from foreign agencies to carry out such heinous acts.

In a press conference, Bugti assured that the family of the late Zakir Baloch will receive support from the government, with his widow being offered a job matching her qualifications and the children’s educational expenses being covered. He emphasized that those targeting innocent civilians, especially women, will face severe consequences.

Furthermore, Bugti announced the allocation of funds for passport expenses of the Chaman residents and the renaming of a government college in Hoshab after Zakir Baloch. He urged the youth to be vigilant against malicious influences and reiterated the government’s commitment to maintaining state authority.

Bugti, along with Corps Commander Rahat Nasim Khan, visited Zakir Baloch’s family to offer condolences and acknowledge his sacrifice for the nation. Despite attempts at dialogue, Bugti affirmed the government’s unwavering stance against terrorism and threats to national security.

With a firm resolution, Bugti assured that those responsible for such acts will face strict consequences, highlighting the government’s determination to safeguard the country’s integrity and protect its citizens. (Image source: Dawn)
