In a recent administrative reshuffle, over 60 bureaucrats in Pakistan have been promoted from Grade 18 to Grade 19. The promotions were announced in a notification issued today, according to ARY News.
Among the key promotions, Shireen Malik from the Office Management Group (OMGIBS-18) has been elevated to Grade 19 and appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Energy. Naqvi has also been promoted to Grade 19 and appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Aviation Division.
Additionally, Muhammad Naeem has been promoted to Grade 19 and appointed as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Defense. Earlier in March, the Establishment Division had notified several secretary promotions following the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
Notable appointments include Aizaz Aslam as Secretary of Climate Change and Ali Tahir as Additional Secretary Incharge of Science and Technology. Secretary of Science and Technology, Ali Raza Bhutta, has been directed to report to the Establishment Division.
Separate notifications have been issued by the Establishment Division regarding these significant promotions.
