The 78th Independence Day celebrations in India were a grand affair, with 6,000 special guests in attendance. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in unfurling the national flag and addressing the crowd from the Red Fort. Guests included Indian contingent from Paris Olympics, Atal Innovation Mission beneficiaries, Border Roads Organisation workers, and sarpanches. The theme of the celebration was ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047’, highlighting the country’s development goals.

The event showcased individuals who have excelled in various fields with government support, including students, farmers, tribal artisans, women representatives, and ASHA workers. Special guests from different government schemes like PM SHRI, Mera Yuva Bharat, and Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi were also present. Additionally, winners of online competitions and NCC cadets in custom tricolor kits formed the ‘My Bharat’ logo.
