Morocco and Chad to Enhance Bilateral Partnership in All Areas

Morocco and Chad Strengthen Partnership in Dakhla Meeting

In a recent meeting in Dakhla, Morocco and Chad signed a joint Communiqué to enhance their partnership in the spirit of South-South cooperation. Foreign Ministers Nasser Bourita and Abderaman Koulamallah expressed their commitment to boosting economic exchanges between the two nations, emphasizing the pivotal role of the private sector in this endeavor.

The meeting also resulted in the signing of agreements covering various areas such as the avoidance of double taxation, collaboration in higher education and scientific research, technical cooperation in civil aviation, forestry, and the recognition of driving licenses.

Furthermore, the ministers agreed to convene the 2nd Session of the Moroccan-Chadian joint Cooperation Commission in Dakhla in the first half of 2025, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to deepening bilateral ties.

This meeting marks a significant step towards fostering stronger relations between Morocco and Chad, showcasing their mutual dedication to advancing cooperation in various sectors for the benefit of both nations.
