The Zhoghovurd newspaper of the RA reported that Ara Badoyan, arrested for the beating of Minister of Foreign Affairs Ararat Mirzoyan, has appealed to the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) to present the truth about his unlawful detention. The ECtHR has shown interest in the case, requesting Armenia to provide relevant documents.
