Starmer urges Iran to avoid attacking Israel

UK Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer recently spoke with Iran’s new president, urging them to refrain from attacking Israel. This call marked the first conversation between a UK prime minister and an Iranian president since March 2021.

Both Israel and Iran have been vocal about recent incidents involving the assassination of key leaders in Gaza and Lebanon. As tensions escalate, world leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau are urging citizens to leave Lebanon to avoid potential risks. Airlines have also adjusted flight schedules in response to the heightened tensions in the region.
