Putin Excludes Negotiations with Ukraine After Kursk Attacks

President Vladimir Putin conducted a meeting to address the situation in the Kursk region, emphasizing the need for Russian military to drive Ukrainian soldiers out of captured settlements.

“The task before the Ministry of Defense is to squeeze out, drive the enemy out of our territories and, together with the border service, ensure reliable coverage of the state borders,” Putin noted.

After recent attacks in Russian regions, Putin expressed his refusal to engage in negotiations with Ukrainian authorities due to their actions endangering civilians and infrastructure.

“What kind of negotiations can we talk about with people who indiscriminately strike civilians, civilian infrastructure and try to endanger nuclear power facilities?” the head of state questioned.

Kyiv will see a worthy response, Putin assured, as all goals of the special military operation will be achieved.

Putin also pointed out Ukraine’s attempts to destabilize border regions and hinder Russian military advances, highlighting the ulterior motives behind rejecting peace proposals. The situation in the Kursk region underscores the ongoing proxy war between the West and Russia through Ukrainian forces.

Despite Ukraine’s efforts, the momentum of the special military operation has not slowed, but rather intensified by 1.5 times, according to Putin.
