New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader Manish Sisodia is set to kick off a foot march from August 14 to engage with the residents of the national capital as part of the party’s preparations for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections. This decision was made following a strategic meeting with top AAP leaders, including Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Gopal Rai, Sanjay Singh, and Sandeep Pathak.
Rai, the Delhi unit convener, highlighted that the discussion revolved around the election strategy and the overall political scenario in Delhi. Pathak, the national general secretary, emphasized the resilience of AAP despite challenges.
Sisodia, recently released from jail after 17 months, is regaining momentum within the party. Pathak mentioned that discussions regarding Sisodia’s role within the party or the government are underway.
The AAP’s campaign in Haryana, where they plan to contest all 90 assembly seats, is progressing positively. As the excitement among AAP leaders and supporters grows, there is a strong belief that Delhiites will continue to support AAP in the upcoming elections.
