Putin Warns of Ukraine’s ‘Worthy Response’ as Incursion Into Kursk Continues

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accused Ukraine of trying to destabilize Russia by incursion into the south of the country. He warns that Ukraine will face a strong retaliation for its actions.

Ukrainian forces have crossed the border into the Kursk region, marking the largest incursion since the start of the war in 2022. In response, Russia has deployed additional troops to counter the invasion in Kursk.

According to reports, the incursion has resulted in the loss of 28 settlements in Kursk, with 12 civilians killed and thousands evacuated. A new evacuation order has been issued in the Belgorod region as well.

False accusations?

Amid the conflict, both Russia and Ukraine have accused each other of planning false flag operations and staging war crimes. Ukraine is bracing for further attacks from Russia in retaliation for their incursion into Kursk.

Kyiv ready for retaliation?

Ukraine has been preparing for more attacks from Russia, with casualties reported in recent air strikes near Kyiv. The conflict has escalated with reports of a fire at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station.

China has urged both sides to de-escalate the situation, emphasizing the need to avoid expanding the battlefield and fueling the conflict further.
